blesstheworld.com is
pleased to
announce the
publication
of
eating God, a book of spiritual and
romantic
poetry
by Roy Anthony Shabla.
eating God is a cycle of ecstatic poems
describing
the
development of a personal relationship with God. The
progression of poems becomes a meditation primer on
the soul and a handbook on love.
These poems originated in dharma talks given by
the
author over several years at The Blessings Center in Los
Angeles. Many of the poems retain the semblance of a
sermon while others speak directly to God. The tradition
of such poetry extends to the earliest literature of both
Eastern and Western cultures.
A book tour is being scheduled with readings
planned in
Santa Fe, Columbus, Portland, Washington, D.C., and
Toronto.
Roy Anthony Shabla is a meditation teacher and
