blesstheworld.com opened for business on the Winter Solstice 2001 after long preparations. It will be our four-year anniversary this Winter though it seems like it has been much longer.

The blesstheworld.com newsletter began six months later and has been a great blessing in the lives of many people. Those who have taken the information to heart have found it invaluable and the changes in their lives incredible.

We have many dreams for blesstheworld.com that remain unrealized ~ not only the development of the bless-the-baby, beast, and garden sites but also a blesstheworld.tv where you can watch video of contemporary saints and templeofhope.com where you can interact with prayer lists and share with others what helps you through difficult times.

But the business, the website, the newsletter have never paid for themselves ~ not only have they never turned a profit but they have never come close to making the cost of operation.

All print and internet advertising was stopped for blesstheworld.com this past year and all other expenses have been cut. We run with the small staff of myself, my indispensable webmistress who has been a great blessing in my life, and a dear friend who is there to help me whenever I call.

Even so, it is time for change.

I regret to announce that the blesstheworld.com newsletter will be (I hope only) temporarily discontinued. There may be occasional announcements, but for the most part, we will be silent.

The blesstheworld.com website will not replenish products ~ only the blessthebody.com Spiritual Remedies will always be available.

The search for an herbal manufacturer has proved fruitless and I will no longer maintain the search. I am sorry to those clients who got great benefits from the herbal products ~ there is nothing else on the market like them.

Communication with candle manufacturers has also proved fruitless and if current communications do not yield a product, the feng shui candles will also be discontinued.

The blessthehome.com Ritual Candles remain in production at this time.

Feng shui products (mirrors, prisms, etc.) will not be replaced when stock is depleted.

My new book, eating God, has gotten a great response from those who have read it and reviews are pending in three magazines (an amazing feat since 99% of the thousands of books published each year are never reviewed) and yet only a few copies have sold. Unless it begins to take on a life of its own, I am seriously cutting back on the promotion of the book.

My free consultations will be curtailed. Often, I spend half the day answering emails and the other half answering phone calls ~ without generating a penny of income. While I do not regret giving free advice, free treatments, free products ~ I just cannot continue as before. This need for change is not the result of physical bankruptcy (because the physical is merely a reflection of the subtle) but emotional and spiritual bankruptcy. I am drained and still cannot pay the bills. Working hard has nothing to do with financial stability.

I will answer only one short email per person per day. If it is too much to read or type, you will need to pay for a consultation, either in-person or over the phone. Unnecessary phone calls will also be severely curtailed. Most doctors and healers are not as accessible as I have been.

The only aspect of blesstheworld.com I am interested in expanding is the Sunday Evening Meditation Class. While it is small and does not generate much income, it is very rewarding and the regular students are sincere. As I have taught my personal form of meditation across the country this year, I have found all the groups very appreciative. I will inquire if another studio or center in the Los Angeles area is interested in hosting me during the week. Solstice and Equinox workshops will be discontinued at this time.

This is not defeat for blesstheworld.com but a tactical retreat. The website contains a wealth of information for those who seek answers and the blessthebody.com Spiritual Remedies will always be available. For current information, you will need to attend meditation class or arrange for a consultation. When the time comes for blesstheworld.com to expand again, it will expand joyfully.
