It seems that these newsletters will be both sporadic and informal ~ the universe is taking my energy in other directions and it is an exciting ride.

As we enter the holiday season, the time of holy days, we can find ourselves being more "ourselves" than ever ~ all our stresses/challenges present themselves under the pressure of the times. For many months, I have been talking about the planet Mars, the God of War; and for the entire year, the feng shui of conflict. And yet, I still regularly receive questions about personal animosity. Many people do not relate what I am teaching with what is happening in the own lives ~ this is a clarity-and-grounding issue. In an attempt to release the karma of conflict, I am suggesting everyone make a commitment to the peace movement. Getting out of your own life, your own head, your own conflict and working for the greater good of peace in the world will help you manifest peace in your life.

While people may have different political views of the state of the world, few people truly believe that war is viable solution. It benefits only those who profit from the business of it. Apathy and personal fear are what allow the community of the world to tolerate violence as an accepted method of conflict resolution. And anger/vengeance/righteousness is merely a smokescreen for fear. But there are many other methods to resolve conflict. We teach them to our children every day. I hope!

Some methods of conflict resolution require hardship, but nothing compared to the needless loss of life and destruction. I wrote about war and mass embargo in the blesstheworld.com October 2002 newsletter and now, three years later, the world is in a much more precarious position. The people of the United States of America have certain talents that I think are not currently being applied to the peace movement. One of them is the concept of "deadline". What do we want? Peace! When do we want it? Now! So what I propose is a deadline, a concerted effort to stop war by Earth Day 2006. My daughter's birthday is April 22 ~ can you think of a better gift for any of our children?

PEACE ON EARTH DAY 2006 posters will be available to download from blesstheworld.com this month. Print them as handbills or take them to your local Xerox center and enlarge them to poster size for only a few dollars. Post them everywhere. And repeat it. What have you done today to save the world? Soon you will be able to say, "I brought peace!"
