We are living in amazing times. Marriage equality and affordable healthcare are things you may not have believed we would see in America. What history we are witnessing! But we are also living in challenging times. Nuclear radiation from Japan and police brutality (to name just a couple issues) deeply affect every day of our lives and the lives of our loved ones. We cannot remain passive in the face of these challenges.
